Collection of Original NASA Signed Astronaut Photographs
Collection of Original NASA Signed Astronaut Photographs
Collection of original NASA photographs of successful applicants to the US astronaut selection programme, dating back to the 1960s. 46 of the 47 potential astronauts have signed their respective photograph.Photographs include the majority of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo astronauts, including Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Alan Shepard, John Glenn, Gene Cernan and John Young. The only notable absentees from the collection, rather poignantly, include Gus Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee; all of whom were killed in the tragic fire that occurred in the rehearsal test for Apollo 1.
