Collection of Signed Cosmonaut Postcards
Four signed postcards featuring cosmonauts:Photograph of Lt. General Vladimir Aleksandrovich Shatalov who flew on Soyuz 4, which successfully docked with Soyuz 5 during orbit - the first time two crewed spacecraft had docked. Shatalov was also aboard Soyuz 8 as part of a space lab construction team and Soyuz 10 in the first successful docking with a space station.
Photograph of Andriyan Grigoryevich Nikolayev who flew on two space missions: Vostok 3 and Soyuz 9. On both, he set new endurance records for the longest time a human being had remained in orbit. He was also the first person to make a television broadcast from space in 1962. On 3 November 1963, he married Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space.
Photograph of Georgy Timofeyevich Beregovoy who commanded the Soyuz 3 space mission. This was his only spaceflight as he retired soon after from active duty, having been promoted to Major General.
Group photograph of the crews of Soyuz-6, 7 and 8: GS Shonin, VN Kubasov, AV Filipchenko, VV Gorbatko, VN Volkov, VA Shatalov and AS Eliseev. Soyuz 6 was a joint mission with Soyuz 7 and Soyuz 8, with the three spacecraft in orbit together at the same time.
