NASA 25th Anniversary Patch

A NASA 25th anniversary patch, made to commemorate the foundation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

NASA was founded on 29 July 1958, coming into operation on 1 October later that year with the signing of the National Aeronautics and Space Act.

This particular patch was part of a collection of patches acquired by British-born professor of endocrine and metabolic surgery Anthony Goode, during his years working with NASA’s Life Sciences Division.
