NASA Apollo Programme Patch

NASA Apollo Programme Patch

This Apollo patch was designed for Project Apollo - NASA's Moon landing programme.

The design features a large letter 'A' with the constellation of Orion's three central stars making up the bar of the letter A. Either side are the Earth and Moon, with trajectory lines depicting how Apollo spacecraft would travel between the two.

This particular patch was part of a collection of patches acquired by British-born professor of endocrine and metabolic surgery Anthony Goode, during his years working with NASA’s Life Sciences Division.
