To celebrate World Space Week and Collins Astronomy Week, the National Space Centre has teamed up with Collins to host an online LIVE Space Q&A session all about space and astronomy with author Tom Kerss.

Tom is a London-based freelance astronomer, astrophotographer, writer and speaker, specialising in the rewarding task of connecting people to their shared universe.

A veteran of the Royal Observatory, author and contributor of numerous popular Collins astronomy books, his aim is to promote exploration of the night sky to a global audience.

How do I ask a question?
Ask your questions in advance on the Facebook event page, or on social media for the chance to win an annual pass and some amazing Astronomy books from Collins. We will be selecting questions in advance but cannot guarantee we will be able to answer all the questions.

You can also ask your questions live on the night and there will be more prizes to be won.

How to watch the LIVE session?
Join us at 19:00 on our Facebook page on 5 October 2021. The session will go live at this time, or just after.

Can I watch the session at a later date?
Yes, the session will remain on Facebook after the event for you to watch at any time.

Who is this session suitable for?
Anybody and everybody with an interest in the past, present and future of space exploration. The National Space Centre is an educational charity and last year we hosted over 80,000 school visits, so everything we do is created to inspire and educate.
