Accessible Afternoons
Buy a standard day ticket, or use your Annual Pass to book a return visit. You can arrive at any point during the day, but at 15:00 our Accessible Afternoon begins.
Tickets include full access to the award-winning National Space Centre, including the Sir Patrick Moore planetarium. You can select a subtitled show, a drop in Tour of the Night Sky (you can come as go as you feel comfortable), or any show during the day if you prefer.
This is an accessible programme for all ages, that combines relaxed lighting and sounds around the Centre, with hands-on sensory activities. All activities are drop-in, to allow visitors to experience them in their own time.
Accessibility
Lighting and sound levels will be managed throughout the attraction, as well as hands-on activities designed to be accessible to visitors with additional needs.
The sessions have been timed to allow children, adults and families to visit out of hours, and after school, with very low visitor numbers and no large groups on site.
